Seriously, if you have never heard or seen Joshua Redman live at least once- you are not living. I saw Joshua at the Detroit Jazz Festival and was so taken with the performance I became and instant uber fan. I was elated to be able to cover the show at Michigan Theater this April and was able to capture 2 songs. Truly a memorable night and the shots are going to take a long time to edit. This shiny clear as a bell ensemble is based in Nashville and performed at the Ann Arbor Folk Festival in January. So great to have them back in town for a show. Caroline Spence opened up with some slo-cooked Virginia songwriting . Nora Jane's band are no strangers to a open backed banjo and a multitude of other instruments and each song has it's own story to tell. I really enjoyed covering this special band.
