Edmonton Blues Festival
Got a great Friday gift to chase all that rain away! - I am really honored that the Edmonton Blues Festival used my photo of Colin Linden as a base for their derivative artwork for 2017 merch and promo. There is a small photo credit on all merch as well. Glad to be helping to keep the Blues Alive. Beautiful Graphic Art by Karen Clouston! #KeepingtheBluesAlive #Blues #ColinLinden#EdmontonBluesFestival Now to plan a road trip.... ! See you in August.

2017 Sound Image & Contact Photography Festival
I'm honored to have a photo in the 2017 SOUND Image music photography exhibition and even more jittery about it because this year the show will be a official exhibition in the CONTACT Photography Festival which is one of the largest photo festivals in the world. The photo is one that I really cherish and it's one of my best all time shots. Taken in a really dark setting with a super fast prime lens. It hearkens back to my photojournalism classes in Boston and maybe that's why

More from the Ann Arbor Folk Fest
Yea, I am half Irish- my Dad's Dad was born in Belfast and I have the address from the priest in calligraphy framed on my wall at home- it's like super old and gold gilded and worn out in all the right places- kind of like Irish men...lol. Cute and weathered ones are the best of course. These young whippersnappers in the the band WeBanjo3 are quite the stage presence! I had to speed my shutter speed way up to 550 to catch these guys as they played at Hill on night two- loads

This year was so much fun and I enjoyed running around Hill Auditorium like a complete and total crazy woman more than ever! Thanks to the ARK for their support in my craziness! #KindredSpirits #FindYourFolk I have had some time to edit a few more photos. Here's Davina and the Vagabonds - and so happy to hear she quit smoking after a health issue- she is better and back on the road now. You go gurl! She will be back at the ARK in May!! I cannot wait.
