Smug Mug Album | Psychedelic Furs
So much fun shooting this show at Royal Oak Music Theater on August 22, 2015. Here is a LINK to an album.

Steve Kilbey | The Church Meet Up
Reading about Steve's life one realizes he is not a sissy- as one who has lived through a roller coaster of addiction, personal break ups, loss and more- he has held up through it all and of course he still loves his weed. All that aside- he continues to mature and evolve as a musical artist, writer and painter. This photo makes me giggle as I wonder if he knew what a total nerd he was hugging? I barely drink, can't stand the smell of weed, have to leave the room if cigarett

The Psychedelic Furs
So dreams do come true- seriously if you knew how many times I played my Psychedelic Furs Vinyl, tape and CD collection in the 1980's you would think of committing me. THAT dedicated a fan. If my mom were alive this week she would have gotten such a kick out of me shooting this concert. She would have said in her Latvian accent "Brita, that Richard Butler is in town, the Richard...y'know...are you going to go sing along?" Well I did go and sing along too. I am happy with my s

The Church
Got to photograph The Church | Psychedelic Furs 2015 Tour and was pretty geeked about it as I have been a fan of both since my youth. I did do much better with the Psychedelic Furs a

They were named one of the top seven breakout artists at SXSW 2015 by Billboard Magaz

The Giving Tree Band - Fairlane Folk Festival
From Yorkville, ILL these guys did a great set and closed it out by coming down to our level and singing a great gospel song. The crowd loved it, sang along and you could not ask for a more perfect evening. AND quoted from Wiky online " The Giving Tree Band is also known for extraordinary environmental stewardship and eco-friendly music production. They use a number of instruments that were handmade from naturally fallen trees and reclaimed woods. They have recorded with renew

The Giving Tree Band - Fairlane Folk Festival
From Yorkville, ILL, the Giving Tree Band was a treat to see at the Fairlane Folk Festival held at the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn, Michigan. A cool festival with 3 stages- these guys held their own and closed it out with some lively heartfelt gospel- very cool!
