Ferndale Blues Festival - Ana Popovich

The Ferndale Blues Festival always happens in freezing cold January and is a good way to warm up in a brutal Michigan winter. This year at the Magic Bag venue I had the luck to photograph Ana Popovich. I had not shot her before and had no idea- I had only seen youtube videos so I knew her style.

This was a great show and to see this guitar diva and watch her fingers- if you can!- was like seeing a genius at work. Ana was fun and she had a great crowd for the night.

Ana stayed after to sign albums for people and I caught a quick photo with help from a friend.
