There really is no way to describe meeting

woman/artist/PhD/activist/musician/speaker Buffy Sainte Marie - who was blacklisted by the United States government for speaking against the war in Vietnam and many other things. How she made it through is a testament to her willpower, creativity and problem solving skills in managing that path we are on called life. She steered clear of the drugs and here she is, standing today. Like her album name "The Power in the Blood" she continues to compose songs of social relevance and speak on important issues of today.
